The Greater Cincinnati Energy Alliance and Kentucky Home Performance (KHP) have partnered to provide comprehensive home energy assessments and improvements for Boone, Kenton, and Campbell County households. The first step to lowering your energy consumption and making your home more comfortable is a comprehensive home energy audit, also known as an energy assessment. Our home energy assessment is a 3-5 hour comprehensive look at your home’s air leaks, mechanical equipment performance and safety, insulation levels, and air quality. Through a partnership with our approved contractors, we have reduced the cost of comprehensive energy assessments to only $50* for all residents, regardless of income.

Northern Kentucky residents benefit from an incentive up to 35% from the Energy Alliance and KHP or a low-interest loan to reduce the cost of each measure found on your energy assessment report. For a limited time, Kentucky residents can access a 4.99% low interest loan and a 15% incentive for eligible measures. In addition, the Energy Alliance connects you to other available federal, state, and utility incentives.

The Energy Alliance and KHP works with professionally certified and insured home energy contractors. All of our home performance professionals are certified by the Building Performance Institute, a leading nonprofit organization that provides standards for energy efficiency professionals. Using the "house as a system" approach, our home performance contractors assess energy saving opportunities as well as your home's comfort, health, and safety. We assure the quality of our program by routinely performing quality assurance testing on all of our approved home performance contractors to ensure the highest quality of work.
